Calling lovers of glamorous felines right meow! If there was a show of pedigree cats that defined glamour and elegance, it’s the ANCATS 22nd Anniversary Cat Show in Sydney held on Sunday, March 31 in Menai, NSW.

Australian National Cats Inc proudly presents the Seven Ring, All-Breeds Championship Show for pedigree cats in partnership with major sponsors Petinsurance.com.au and Oz-Pet, and partners Cat Protection Society of NSW and Sylvania Veterinary Hospital whose staff will be at the event to provide advice on feline adoption and preventative veterinary care.

ANCATS also welcomes interstate and international feline judges, including USA and New Zealand.

“This is a very exciting event featuring distinguished judges and award-winning pedigree cats, and an ideal place for those interested in the cat fancy to gather and share their knowledge and enjoy the company of like-minded people,” said Brian Edwards, President of ANCATS, Australia’s only national cat registering group affiliated with the World Cat Federation.

The event will showcase an incredible range of pedigree cats – from the Sphynx, Maine Coon and Persian to the Burmese, Oriental, Siamese and much more.

“We invite everyone of all ages to come and experience the ANCATS show hospitality with all its glamour and elegance, watch the judging, mingle with breeders and learn about responsible cat ownership,” said Mr Edwards.

“ANCATS members are devoted to the welfare and responsible ownership of cats, and encourage the public to microchip, register and desex their cats.”

If you’re thinking of acquiring a cat, ANCATS’ show is the ideal place to learn about cat breeds, including their various hair lengths and different personalities, and make an informed decision, he added.
