From kids in a hospital to residents in nursing homes, anxious uni students and stressed office workers – every day around our nation lives are being uplifted by hard-working canines who enjoy every moment being a Therapy Dog. It’s time to ‘take paws’ and celebrate these good doggos!

In September 2018, The Delta Society of Australia launched the inaugural Therapy Dog Awareness Month! The Delta Society were involved in their biggest ever R U OK? Day program with over 120 therapy dogs visiting organisations and universities across Australia.

Delta Society is leading Therapy Dog Awareness Month which was recently announced by the Department of Health. The Delta Society is continuing their work to highlight and promote the wonderful work of therapy dogs across the community and the positive impact of the Paws the Pressure program.

This September, you can meet therapy dogs, learn more about the benefits of owning a dog and having a therapy dog visit your workplace.
