On Sunday 26th January 2014, the Australia Day Dog Paddle Races will kick off at 7:00 am with a range of events across the waters of Watsons Bay, Sydney. The Every Man & His Dog events are run by WATSSUP Watsons Bay Stand Up Paddling.
There are plenty of amazing prizes up for grabs so select your race division and register online to secure your spot.
Race divisions: U12’s, U16’s, Open Mens, Open Womens and the namesake Every Man & His Dog race which sees a pooch on the mast of every paddleboard (held in aid of the Animal Welfare League NSW).
Bondi Rescue’s Terry McDermott, Dean Gladstone and Bruce Hopkins are involved in the event. Dean reckons that he and his dog Lilly will try for first place honours.
