“After an exhaustive search process and extensive camera testing of the final four, it was impossible to single out any one candidate,” said WTFN’s Director of Content, Steve Oemcke.
“Each of the four new Bondi Vets has a unique skill set and story to tell,’’ Mr Oemcke said.
“Their love for pets and animals shines through and there is a great chemistry between them.
“Their work in front of the camera has been outstanding, and we know that fans will really get behind them as they take the show in an exciting new direction,’’ he said.
When asked how does it feel to be one of the four new Bondi Vets, animal emergency veterinarian Dr Alex Hynes said, “I’m incredibly excited, my job is really fulfiling but being able to bring the stories and even the journey over the last eight months just for people to see what we can offer animals is fantastic.”
It’s an emerging field and we can offer those services anytime day or night is something I’m really passionate about, ” she said.
Mr Oemcke said a number of media organisations were vying for the new-look Bondi Vet which would continue to be distributed to more than 180 countries around the world.
